I’ve been bugged

For the Agent story.

Since the release of Chapter X in the KotFE I was able to play through it the first night with one of my older Agents, who also did not romance Kaliyo at all. I won’t give details, but let’s just say I’m stuck in a groundhog movie loop on my latest Agent Trayvae. I took him through all his stories and started Makeb but once I hit 60, started doing other things like the HK-51 quest, and a few other things to build up to at least level 62, even though I know they scale you down on older things. I also did the prelude to SoR only for Common Data Crystals, and once I started Rishii, I grew bored. Been there done that over 10 times it’s mute to me now. I do not care about the title at the end of SoR so I bypassed it. I may go back now and finish Makeb just to get it out on my mission log, same with Illum, even though I am growing rather bored of those two FPs at the end, course I could always just save Illum, and not do the FPs anymore. Also I did group up while doing the HK quest to find his parts on Taris, and Hoth, and ended up doing those two FPs because we thought you got the items at the end instead of doing the HM, which for False Emperor, we got the item needed, but not in regular group mode (Tactical ) for The Foundry, but when I decided to take a quick run back through it , I was able to get the last of my HK parts to finish his quest line. Now I remembered why I opted to pay the 350 Cartel Coins to unlock him, his quest is one of those headaches you do once, and swear “never again.”  As you can see in the snapshot below I may be stuck in the quest time loop on Odessen for ending of Chapter X, I can call on Kaliyo outside of the Alliance base, and use her, I also was able to gain more influence with her, from 20 to now 22. So yeah I’m happy about that.

2016-02-26_16-45-30 I took this snapshot last night while running the Qyzen alliance recruit, and this is how Kaliyo had killed the Worthy Jagannath Target. She left him standing as he was dying. Simply amazing. The outfit you see from the back on my Agent is one I crafted in Armormech. Who is now maxed out on it , I crafted this outfit back when he was in his 50’s only cause I really liked it. Here is the Tor-fashion link to it. I even wanted to some crafting for purple gear, but find that it requires the Exotic Isotope Stabilizer and that is usually locked to HM Flashpoints, and so forth. So I dyed his armor Black/Grey, and spent the credits to lock him in it for good, while his front page is all with I believe 208 gear that I got from the data crystals I had collected, and some where even a drop or two in some of the solo stuff I did. I can not totally recall, but I was going to crafted him some new relics on my 55 Jedi Sent, Awevae, but couldn’t because I do not have the Exotic Isotope Stabilizer and I am not paying GTN prices, nor dropping crystals that can be used for other things on it. So I may have to luck out and just spend the credits to get him some decent relics.  He also my main now on the Ebon Hawk Server. I am not entirely sure if I want to go the route of augmenting his 208 gear , or just wait a bit. I also thought that with all  the sudden changes in gear, that all gear crafted was modifiable now, and sadly I’ve come to see that it’s not. The gear Trayvae is wearing is maxed at level 56, and only had a dye module in place. So I do not know if this is a bug, or what, but it’s not modifiable like they are saying all gear is. I may have to see if I craft it, if I can learn a new schematic from it, and if I can improve on it. Since the original gear I did want for my agent is still way to costly and that is the Agile Reconnaissance of course I have only checked on the Ebon Hawk since that is my main server now, I may have to float over to the others and see if it’s there in a cheaper price range now or not. But anyways if you are playing an Agent at the moment, DO NOT PLAY Chapter X  as it is currently bugged and you’ll be stuck in a groundhog day loop for the ending of it. Trust me it’s not fun, and you can’t recruit Blizz since he’s locked behind finishing chapter X. Anyways, have a good day/ night where ever you may be, and Thanks for reading.

So ……

It just kind of happened.

I landed in a guild without really even trying. While I was running around on my newly created Imperial Agent. Yes, yes I know, why another damn agent? I like the story line. I had always said that if I ever got back into a guild, it would be one I would help create, or create myself. Well this one I helped create. Yeah, I’m a co-founder and well it’s going on day 2 of this guild. How it happened is kind of funny because I don’t normally pay attention to gen chat all that much on the planets anymore cause of political debates going on. I avoid politics, and religious conversations like they are a plague. To me they are a plague, bringing out the worse in people. I was on Alderaan and this guy keeps saying in gen chat he needs a few people to help him create a guild. I was half way done with my story mission, when after the 3rd time he had posted this request that I decided to whisper him and ask what kind of guild would he like to get started. He proceeds to tell me one with a Master/Apprentice system. Okay, I roll my eyes here because it’s not like there isn’t a million of them already in Ebon Hawk server. We group up and he was able to find 2 more people to help create this guild. Great right, until we find out he’s a free to play player. But no worries there , the other two are subs along with me, sweet, so he has no clue how to set any of this up. As we’re talking in group, the one goes and asks for ages. I drop that I’m 38, the other one is 26, another says 17, soon to be 18,and the original one that brought us together chirps in with 14. I instantly slam my head off the desk. I kind of figured he was a kid because of his typing. The guy that is 26, has ran a guild in the past, so he’s pretty much our GM, even though the 14 year old believes he is. We are kind of letting him have his delusion there. We have a DK stronghold which he wanted the one on Tatooine, and a Guild Flagship. The guy that created it after he talked the kid into letting a sub create it so we wouldn’t have any restrictions has pretty much funded the DK Stronghold. He has an Alt on the pub side that he runs dailies, weekly on to grind for credits, so yeah in a group setting you can grind good amount of credits.  We recruit get the needed amount of players to get our guild bank started, and everything. Mean while this kid is going on and on about how he wanted the Tatooine stronghold. So we stop him right there, and explain to him. The last 3 strongholds are the most expensive ones to unlock for a guild. Hell they are expensive even as a single player. My agent is now level 40, and part of a guild.

Naming a guild is a pain

In the ass. We started to try and come up with names. While our two younger ones were throwing names out there that made no sense, one kept saying he wanted the word “Dark” in there, the other said Imperial Destroyers. While me and the other guildie were trying to come up with something a little more original. I threw out Emperor’s Clandestine Vanguard. Two didn’t like it. Course they wouldn’t, they don’t have that big of a vocabulary yet for being in High School, even though I know some have a very high vocabulary even in Middle School. I was asked what the definition of Clandestine was. So I quoted this from Dictionary.com

characterized by, done in, or executed with secrecy or concealment, especially for purposes of subversion or deception; private or surreptitious:

So we said that would be a back up name in case the one we had finally decided on wasn’t available. Originally we were shooting for Imperial Elite Vanguard, but it was apparently taken. Who knew? I never seen anyone running around in SW:ToR with that one, but apparently it was taken. So okay, name two. Elite Imperial Vanguard. Got it! So that is what we named the guild. Elite Imperial Vanguard, and which will most likely have a sister guild in the far future if we can get this one up and running smoothly. Me personally I would have chosen another name over Elite, but I was so excited about helping create a guild that I just nixed the idea of kicking Elite. I’ve come to realize Elite does not always have to have an ego attached to it.  So yeah we’re in a guild now.

Now the true fun

Radqa finally had the dust blown off his lightsaber last night as we started grinding heroics for creds to help build this guild. We couldn’t get 2 more people to go with us cause of them being low level, so I and the other guy decided okay, level 60 or better to grind. We did it. When I first logged Radqa in, he had roughly 12k Credits on him. I tend to rob my alts a lot when I need credits. So we ran a ton of Heroics to make a fairly decent amount, not as much as we would have liked, but it worked for us. We plan on doing it again later today as well. So yeah the adventure into a guild is just beginning. So if you’re on the Ebon Hawk and looking for an alt friendly guild. Contact Trayvae, or Radqa and we’ll get you set up. Until next time Folks.

Contemplating the thoughts of the galaxy in a new view.

So I’ve been thinking

And researching….

I recently found a thread on the forums that well I give two thumbs up for because it’s a different version. One I haven’t really seen in the community as of late, or if ever actually. I found a topic that is opposite of Weird people group finder thread, well now there is one called Great and awesome people you meet in Group Finder, and I’ve actually posted a few comments there myself. Mostly to applaud them for wanting to help the new player learn end game content, which is great because after you do the Chapters , there really is nothing left to do besides grind for the alliance, or make a new alt and start over again which after a while gets well boring and tiresome. I left the guild I was in last year because I wanted to spend less time in SW:ToR and I did for a while. I was having issues and etc from a certain form of player that well now I have thicker skin ,and just really don’t care what anyone says. But I still will not let anyone harass me either. I am a female, and I’ve become damn proud of playing my female characters again. Which was the whole reason for me playing more male characters than females. But back to the main reason this post has it’s title at the moment.

Little research into End game content.

That’s right I’ve been doing research into end game content finally. You know the operations, and etc.  Now my research began here at Vulkk’s website. Yes I do try to support a lot in the game community that are trying to do good, and help new players, even old players that are new to end game content. Another site that I use quite a lot too is Dulfy’s SWTOR area. I’ve even used the Guild Wars 2 section as well as I use to play that game, which reminds me it probably needs updated again. Then I also use Tor-Fashion and Tor-Decorating as well for well you know Fashion for my characters and Decorating a strong hold, and etc. Awevae has also reached over 400 in her Artifice crafting so she is going good there. I need to work on the others now that the grind for XP is back to where it’s manageable. I recently also hit lvl 55 with Awevae as I was crafting to build it up. With her I really don’t know if I will be doing SoR or not yet, or even Makeb as well too. She did Illum and broke the false Emperor. While others are prepping for the next chapter to be released next month, I’ll let them figure everything out on what to say and etc about the new chapter coming out. I just want to focus on the here and now. It’s what I’m good at because I know we are not guaranteed a tomorrow and that tomorrow becomes today. So yeah I tend to live for the here and now. I’ve also taken the time to sit back and think as I write this post on how I want to word it too, because well I have an over active mind that changes subjects quicker then you can change your socks. Plus I have Raven in my lap a lot of times too as she’s always at my side. Unless significant other is home, then she’s with him. But 99% of the time it’s Mommy’s lap she’s in , or trying to get in.  But yeah I’ve been thinking of trying to find a guild that is alt friendly on both Republic and Empire side, and trying to get up into doing end game content, because I know I’m missing out on a shit ton of fun. Even if I have to install a VOIP or whatever. I just hope they understand that I can listen, but not talk cause well I don’t have a microphone anymore. I dumped them all when I gave up being a gaming DJ years ago. I do have a headset with one, but doubtful it still works anymore.

In the end of this post though, I am posting this picture, because given the outfit she has on, while on Illum yesterday, she said this, (Awevae) as they were planning the next attack.

Awevae: Do you know the temperature out there? I’ve got frostbite on my….somewhere you really don’t want to get frostbite.

Random oddness

So I decided that I was going to take a break from KotFE and all the chapter X hogwash as I like to call it, with some other choice words as well. I rolled two new characters. A Jedi Knight Sent, and a Sith Warrior Marauder. Now mind you I have them in their Tank forms as Guardian and Juggernaut but this time I wanted to try the dual sabers that they use. Plus I haven’t heard many say they were still squishy. Course now with the companions being like they are. It’s hard to even die as you level up anymore.  Well I killed the Emperor on the Jedi and stopped, she’s currently getting ready to make her republic mark on the planet Illum. So I jumped over to my Sith Warrior and took him from Korriban to DK, now he’s off to Balmorra so he can kill an agent of the dark side.

Jedi Knight-Sentinel-Watchman

2016-02-17_05-39-07 Now this is Awevae who is by chance a pure sith but I thought it would be interesting to have her as a Jedi Knight. I got her to level 51 and decided to take a break from her. She’s also in that slinky Republic Dancer outfit just for GP, I couldn’t decide what to dress her in ,and decided I wanted a different look for her. I have actually kept her pretty neutral when it came to Light Side and Dark Side decisions. I no longer go just for Dark Side, even though some of my natural instincts tell me too. Yes I am a dark natured person in general outside of SW:ToR, but I am a good person over all, and I try to reflect that in my character now as well. But a fellow SW:ToR player had inspired me to really play with a Dual wielding force user. Vulkk is a great person to learn from as I’ve watched a lot of his videos on YouTube for Jedi Knight-Sentinel spec in Watchman. So this got me thinking and after reading a few forums I decided I wanted to roll a new Sith Warrior as well.

Sith Warrior-Marauder-Annihilation

2016-02-17_19-20-20 Now this is the new Sith Warrior I made, Rhaqdon. I was on the main website watching the progression videos again trying to get an idea of how I wanted to customize him, even though I was not entirely sure of how it would turn out , or if anyone would notice, but some have actually. He looks directly like the progression trailer which you can watch here. The gear he has on is the Reaver set minus the head piece. The head piece I got from the level 8 Common Data Crystal Vendor on the fleet and it’s called Initiate’s Headgear , the light sabers are Dauntless Avenger’s Light Sabers , the color Crystals are Advanced Red Indestructible Crystal that I crafted on Awevae just for him. I may craft more and sale them on the GTN. But yeah I think he pretty much looks like this next image.

WarriorScreen01 This image is from the video I posted as a link above ,and I think I got him fairly close to looking like that one. But I’m happy with it, and as I was running around on the fleet before heading to DK to start his main missions, I got a whisper from someone that had noticed that I made a my marauder close to this progression trailer that we had all seen. It made me feel pretty damn good that someone had recognized that look, because I didn’t think people paid attention to the outfits anymore. Not since it’s so easy to change up, but this is his look for good at the moment. No dye packs, just in his all white glory ,and no He won’t be a nice guy either. The only thing I may change on his is the sabers if I find something else that I like. But with Awevae being a Artifice crafter now that is beginning to be an enjoyment sending idle comps off to either gather materials or craft for me as I play through. Course for as much as I can, I think I will also be using the Nexu companion I have recently unlocked as he does NOT talk at all. The affectionate hairball spit is something to be desired though, but he’s a kick ass companion that I’m happy to have. I’m now on the hunt for an Akk Dog. Then I’ll be happy. I don’t want no damn droids for my companions as HK’s and 2V-R8 and C2-N2 are enough droids for me. Anyways, this is what I’m doing now at the moment to fill the gap in between Chapters and not to burn myself out anymore on just finding fun things to do in SW:ToR.

Not Impressed

Maybe it’s just me…..

I won’t spoil this chapter for those that haven’t even played it yet, but yeah I was not really impressed with it. Then again I was not really a huge fan of Kaliyo Djannis when I played the Agent’s story line the moment I was able to dump her for either Treek or HK-51 I did just that. I was not a fan of her voice actor, or her part in the Agent’s story all together. Now I know some of the fan lovers will say , “She’s the best at what she does.” That is all well and fine with me. If you like her, use her, but me, I could do without her. Now I haven’t ran through Chapter X yet with my Agent, I may do that later today. I did it last night on my Smuggler and did not care for the attitude she still has. I am sorry but out of all the characters I only have a select few that just did not play a role for me when I was leveling up. Course I am going to add my list of all the Companions and with a little note on how I truly feel about them, and whether or not I want them back.

Sith Warrior
Vette – Depends on which Warrior I’m using. I have romanced her on one.
Malavai Quinn – No, Just no
Jaesa Willsaam – Sure Psycho is a good quality to have for a companion.
Lieutenant Pierce – Only when I use a warrior to recruit, other than that, forever locked to PVP
Broonmark – Not sure about him yet.

Bounty Hunter
Mako – God NOOOOOOO , she zaps the fun out of what it is to a bounty hunter.
Gault Rennow -Be interesting to see what Hylo Viz does to him once they are in the same room.
Torian Cadera – Kick ass fighter, so yeah, I’d love to have him back.
Blizz – He’s a jawa, Need I say more, perfect mate for an Ewok (just no Eawa babies)
Skadge – Can’t I lock him back up again?

Sith Inquisitor
Khem Val – Loved my Beloved Dashade from the moment I ever got him.
Andronikos Revel – Sure why not , is easy to please.
Ashara Zavros – God noooooo , No more whining about the Jedi Ways when fighting at the side of a Sith.
Talos Drellik – He’s funny when he says he doesn’t know how to fight.
Xalek – Silent Assassin. So yeah.

Imperial Agent
Kaliyo Djannis – Nope only be accepted in Once, other than that, I could care less about her.
Vector Hyllus – Wonder where Bug Boii went while frozen in Carbonite.
Dr. Eckard Lokin – Only to get the damn quest outta my log. I love the Rakghoul Plague though.
Raina Temple – Undecided
SCORPIO – Really wish I could have said NO to her.
Jedi Knight
T7-O1 – He’s good in tight places.
Kira Carsen – Hate her Voice Actor and way she is too.
Doc – No thanx I hate ladies men, or men that believe they are a ladies man.
Sgt. Fideltin Rusk – Eh, on the fence with him.
Lord Scourge – Most Def. How could you not love having a Sith Warrior fight along side a Jedi Knight.

Aric Jorgan – Eh, on the fence
Elara Dorne – Nope, Not a fan of females
M1-4X – Only on Trooper, other than that, Quest is locked to PVP so No to others.
Tanno Vik – Forgot how many times I have killed him already
Sgt. Yuun – Really another I wanted to say NO too

Jedi Consular
Qyzen Fess – another I wanted to say NO too
Tharan Cedrax – Nope, Dont like him either.
Zenith – Undecided
Lt. Felix Iresso – On the fence
Nadia Grell – Noooooo

Corso Riggs – Undecided
Bowdaar – Depends on his quest
Risha – Eh, A maybe
Akaavi Spar – Sure why not, a BH hooked up with a Smuggler
Languss Tuno – Only for comic relief.

So there sits my list and my opinions on them. For the ones stuck behind the gated wall of PVP , well they can stay there. I am not jumping into level 50+ PVP to just get them. I do like PVP, but I won’t punish those that are in it to win it so to speak. I’ve seen all the hate rage that is going on in the PVP forums and chats when playing about the players that just stand there to get these Companions unlocked. Forcing us to play PVP when we don’t want too, is a little to much for me.

Overall Summary of Chapter X

Without spoiling it for those that have not played it. I will just say this, an hours worth of game play, with Trash mobs that you can’t bypass at all, dealing with a Companion that you really don’t want, and then are forced to take. Over all I give it a 1 outta 10 only cause of who the companion was.  I was happy to see the interaction with my Smuggler and Koth remained. I know some are saying Goodbye to him, but after spending time with him on the smuggler, I have come to actually like him now. I can’t wait to see how the romance thing will play out with him. But on the back end of this story I understand about Koth too. I have taken the time to work up my influence with him, heard what he was saying and everything before Chapter X hit yesterday. I guess in a way Koth is just like anyone else that is trying to protect their home. For him all of Zakuul is his home, the people matter to him. So yeah choices are going to matter when it comes to these new companions and all.

hk_55Now I was pleased to see that he was coming back, and I was excited. For his part alone, I would give it a 10 out of 10 all because well, it’s HK series, and well this time around you can decide what he is allowed to kill and what he isn’t. So this will be fun, and I was impressed that they gave us a Customization for him to use right away. I know many have complained about him being gated behind Chapter IX, but I think it is only fair since we only know of HK-51 early on during the earlier chapters of SW:ToR, so yeah, who knew how they decided to design an upgraded model of HK series unit. His personality is different from HK-51, but the comments are what make HK well HK. For the nay sayers that are complaining at the moment about him being locked to having to complete Chapter IX of the KotFE story. I’m sorry but I approve of how they put HK in this one. It was just like with HK-51 in the beginning. You could only unlock him through the story then it was added to Legacy perk, give it time, they may just add HK-55 there as well. Never really know with BioWare. Overall though I am happy with having HK-55 in my list for companions. Sad to see his memory core wouldn’t be the same, but alias can always make new memories with him as a side kick
